SPORT CAR
A sports car is a car designed with an emphasis on dynamic performance, such as handling, acceleration, top speed, the thrill of driving and racing capability. Sports cars originated in Europe in early 1902 and are currently produced by many manufacturers around the world.
SUV is a loose term that traditionally covers a broad range of vehicles with four-wheel drive that can be taken off-road and have the feel of a lighter truck. While the term SUV can be applied to larger vehicles, such as the Range Rover, Chevrolet Suburban, and Jeep-like SUVs, it can also apply to smaller vehicles that don’t have four-wheel drive and have a minimal capability of going off-road like the Honda CRV and crossover SUVs. Sport-utility is more than just a technical term for the SUV. It also means that the vehicle can get things done and has a quality made for the outdoors, such as scaling different
A sedan is defined as a 4-door passenger car with a trunk that is separate from the passengers with a three-box body: the engine, the area for passengers, and the trunk. Throughout the generations, the definition of a sedan has been the same.
A hatchback is a car with an extra door at the back which opens upward. He drives a little three-door hatchback. A hatchback is called a liftback when the opening area is very sloped and is lifted up to open.
PICK UP
A pickup truck is a vehicle that’s bigger than most cars and is mainly used for hauling stuff around. If you have to move a sofa, it’s good to have a friend with a pickup truck. A pickup truck, or simply a pickup, is a lightweight truck with an enclosed cab, where the driver sits, and an open bed in back. Some pickup trucks are large enough to seat three or four passengers, but most have room for a driver and one other person. Pickup truck, first used in the 1930s, most likely comes from the fact that they are used to pick up goods and transport them.
VAN
A van is a roomy vehicle with a boxy shape that’s useful for transporting extra people or extra stuff. If you’re moving some furniture across town, your mom’s van will come in handy. There are many kinds of vans, from commercial vans that deliver appliances to airport vans that transport hotel guests and their luggage to the small vans parked in many suburban driveways. A less common meaning of van is “forefront,” and this meaning is usually used when talking about military movement: “The general was at the van of the troops as they surged forward.” The vehicle definition comes from caravan, “large covered carriage used for conveying passengers.”
